Tervehdys kaikille!
Tuulimäessä on lähes normaaliolot ja ryhmätoiminta
aktiivista. Koronasulusta johtunut patoutunut kysyntä on purkautumassa, mikä
näkyy
alkeis- ja kokeiluvuorojen täyttymisenä ja jonotuksena ko. vuoroihin. Eli
keskiviikkoisin ja lauantaisin voi hallissa olla melko täyttä. Seura voisi
paremmin vastata kysyntään, jos meillä olisi enemmän aktiivisia ohjaajia.
Mikäli olet kiinnostunut toimimaan ohjaajana ilmoita kiinnostuksestasi hallituksen jäsenille ( Marja tai minä ). Seura on valmis kouluttamaan uusia ohjaajia, joko omilla kursseillaan tai VOK koulutuksissa. Ohjaamisesta maksetaan pientä palkkaa, joten tämä soveltuu hyvin esim. opiskelijoille tai muille joilla on mahdollisuus käyttää aikaa jousiammunnan ohjaamiseen.
Kokeiluluonteisesti olemme varanneet Tuulimäestä myös aamuvuoron Tiistaisin klo 8.00-10.00 alkaen 2.11.21. Vuoden vaihteessa katsotaan onko tällaiselle kysyntää ja päätetään mahdollisesta jatkosta, eli tässä vaiheessa tämä vuoro on käytettävissä 28.12.21 asti.

Hallissa on käsidesiä saatavilla ja vessoissa on käsienpesumahdollisuus ja Tulethan hallille vain terveenä!
Hoodin talja-ampujat järjestävät Taljajousen säätöillan 22.11.21 klo 18.30 ->
Tapahtumassa käydään läpi noin 1.5 tunnin aikana, miten juuri paketista vedetty taljajousi saatetaan turvalliseen ammuntakuntoon. Asetellaan ajoitukset, nuolihylly, nokinpaikka, d-loop, peeppi ja tähtäin paikalleen, vetopituus kohdilleen ja edetään kohti ampumavalmiutta ja jatkosteppejä. Katsotaan samalla prässin, drawboardin, nuolisahan, paperitesterin ja nopeusmittarin toiminta, jotta kuulijat voivat helpommin ja matalammalla kynnyksellä säätää itsenäisemmin jousiaan jatkossa.
Sessiota isännöi Matti Tella. Ohessa saa mahdollisimman interaktiivisesti keskustella ja kysellä kaikesta mahdollisesta. Tuon läpikäynnin jälkeen jää varmasti aikaa henkilökohtaisten säätökysymysten katseluun tai yhteisammuntaan.
Toivomme, että seuran aktiivi talja-ampujista mahdollismman moni pääsee paikalle, jotta henkilöt tulevat myös uusille ampujille tutuiksi ja tilaisuuden päätteeksi voidaan henkilökohtaisesti keskustella mahdollisista jousen säätötarpeista ja neuvoa uudempia ampujia. Tämä sopii myös Hoodin Bowhunting teamilaisille ja pyrimme saamaan Tuulimäkeen myös leikkurien säätämiseen soveltuvan taustan.
Hoodin talja-ampujat ovat perinteisesti menestyneet hyvin SM tasolla, esim lokakuussa ammutuissa sisä SM kisoissa neljästä miesten finalistista kolme oli Hoodista ja lisäksi naisten puolella Anne Laurila voitti pronssia.
Vastaavia perehdytysiltoja pyritään talven aikana järjestämään myös muille aselajeille. Työn alla on ainakin Lonkkari päivä.

Hello everybody!
Tuulimäki is almost normal conditions and group activities are active. The pent-up demand due to the corona lock is unfolding, which is evident as the completion and queuing of elementary and experimental shifts in question. So, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the hall can be quite crowded. The club could better meet the demand if we had more active instructors.
If you are interested in acting
as a instructor, let your board members know (Marja or I). The club is
ready to train new instructors, either in their own courses or in VOK
trainings. There is a small salary for intructor, so this is well suited, for
example, for students or others who have the opportunity to spend time coaching
archery.
On an experimental basis, we have also booked a morning shift from Tuulimäki
on Tuesdays from 8.00 to 10.00 from 2.11.21. At end of the year, it is
considered whether there is a demand for such and a decision is made on a
possible continuation, ie at this stage this shift is available until 28.12.21.
Reminder:
Sanitizers are available in the hall and the toilets have hand washing
facilities and please come to the hall only healthy!
Hood’s Compound shooters will hold the Compound bow tuning evening on November Monday 22.11 at 6.30 pm ->
The event will go through in about 1.5 hours how to get the Compound bow just pulled out of the package into a safe shooting condition. Arrange the timings, arrow shelf, nock point, d-loop, peep and sight in place, draw length in place and move towards shooting readiness and future tuning steps. After evening participants can tune their bows more independently in the future with a lower threshold. The session is hosted by Matti Tella.
Here you can discuss and ask about everything possible as interactively as possible. After that Mattis’ set-up, there is sure to be time to look at personal adjustment issues or shoot together.
We hope that as many of the club’s active compound shooters as possible will get to the scene, so that people will also become familiar with the new shooters and at the end of the event can personally discuss possible bow tuning needs and advise newer shooters.
This event is also suitable for Hood’s Bowhunting team members and we are working to get a targetbutt suitable for adjusting the blades in Tuulimäki.
Hood’s compound shooters have traditionally been very successful at the Finnish Championship level, for example, in the indoor championships shot in October, three of the four men’s finalists were from Hood and Anne Laurila also won a bronze on the women’s side.
